02:38 pm - V day Hello... I have not been blogging for quite some time... been too busy with my new job role and sourcing of house...hee hee... V day just passed... this yr is a tone down celebration at Marina Barrage, had dinner at 7 Storey Resturant and home made Tiramisu at home :) This is my first time making Tiramisu.. very excited.. cause have not tasted the actual product till the actual day.... received many good feed back from Husband and Brother and Friends :) Here are the photos... 11:51 pm - Ikea Scarf & Belt Hanger I went Ikea for dinner today and bought this hanger. The material is actually quite good and it is cheap as well only $6. it allows you to hang your scarf, belt or skirts on it, help to save some space in your wardrobe.   Hee hee.. below are all some of my belts and scarf :)   More belts and scarfs on another hanger   Current Mood: cheerful

11:24 pm - DIY Ring Pillow I have search online to look for a ring pillow but do not see anything that i really like, so come out with the idea to do my own ring pillow...hee hee... so i have something that is speical and very "me"...look for all my soft toys and pillow and find some suitable materials... A big red heart pillow from Diaso   Small pink heart pillow with "LOVE" embroidary from Diaso   Small teddy couples key chain bought in HK   Final product :) The small red heart the bears are holding together is actually my hair clip. The red ribbon will be used to tie my rings. The bride bear is holding a small red rose which is part of my old hair band. The big red heart is sew with white lace to make it more outstanding.   Current Mood: accomplished

01:05 am - DIY Photo Album :) Today I went to deport road again to print out my vacations photos :) But this time round the photo album is smaller compared to my Japan album which is 12*12 inch consist of 235 photos and 28 pages.. pay $23 for it. The smaller album  measurement is 8.5 *11 inch... consist of 20 pages and 100 photos..pay $12.60 for each album... I created a pink hard cover album for all my sentosa photos and all those couples photos taken in Singapore... the light blue hard cover album for my Phuket holiday in 2006...     Plain pink texture hard cover Lolipop stick onto the album     Gold lettering stickers + nail art stickers :)   Lace Ribbon   Final Product :) First Page   Inside Pages    Plain Blue texture cover Gold lettering stickers + nail art stickers :) Gold lettering stickers + nail art stickers :)     Ribbon with blue heart crystal     Final Product :) Current Mood: creative

09:08 pm - Mother's Day Intial plan for Mother's day is to go Humble House at esplande for dinner... but according to many friends... humble house food is so so only and the pricing is not humble at all... hahaha... anyway my parents backout last min to go there as well... so in the end.. we end up going to Tung Lok Seafood restaurant in East Coast.... the food there are delicious... and the food selction is wide as well.. they have about 50 food item to choose from...as we are taking ala carte buffet... we can eat all we want... guess wat... we ate about 20 over items... my god... my waist should have grow 1 to 2 cm wider because of it... but any way the food is really nice and the serving portion for 4 is not really that big... about 2 pcs per person.. so here is the list that we ordered: 1) Nobleman's Braised Shark Fin soup with shredded fish maw and mushroom 2) Raw oyster 3) Chili crab  4) Poached prawns served with chef's dipping sauce 5) Salmon sashimi 6) California maki 7) Deep fried calamari with salted pepper 8) Crispy fried baby squid 9) BBQ to roast meat combination 10) Roasted chicken (Half) 11) Mini octopus 12) Sliced pork trotter with jelly fish 13) Deep fried marble gory fish 14) Baked prawns with spice and curry leaves 15) Cripsy fried stuffed dough fritters coated with mayonnaise 16) Sauteed sliced tioman fish with giner and onion 17) Sauteed scallops with spicy sauce 18) Sauteed chicken with chinese wine garnished with thai basil served in claypot 19) Deep fried pork ribs with chef's special sauce 20) Sauteed shredded beef with ginger and onion 21) Poached chinese spinach with garlic 22) Sauteed Spinach with garlic 23) Chilled herbal jelly with honey 24) Chilled black glutinous with ice cream x2 (order twice..very yummy) 25) Sweeten red bean cream x2 (order twice..very yummy) 26) Ice cream puff 27) Glutinous Dumpling with sesame filling 28) Red bean pan cake Opps.. forget to inform you guys on the pricing... it is abt $38.80++ ... so after the 17% charges.. it is abt $47 per person... 01:49 am - DIY Photo Album Cover Hee hee... Sometimes it is not bad to be working in a printing company... at least print photos are much cheaper... I just did my own photo printing album in HP... looks like magazine... very nice.. u can choose the photo, crop it, brighten it, remove red eyes... choose the theme of the album... The end product is a white hard cover photo album consist of 235 photos display nicely in a 28 pages of pink with hearts wall paper and only cost me $29-$5=$24 ($5 for promotion) But the white cover is too plain... people like me.. too much free time and cannot stand things that are too plain and not creative.. so DIY my cover ... hee hee... and I quite like the end product... very me... Things u need...all can be get from Diaso.. my favourite store 1) A Japanese greeeting card.. so that u can cut it up and piece it up again on the cover 2) Glue 3) Gold stickers lettering 4) Nail art stickers :) Boring plain white cover Gold stickers lettering with nail art as decorations Finished the naming Cut more smaller pcs from the Japnese greeting card that I got from Diaso and glued it to the cover      This is 3D... gold and pink threads tied up... very nice.. Yeah... this is my end product :) very Japan feel wor... 1st Page of my album    Inside look like this.. like magazine :) Current Mood: cheerful

05:38 pm - Not Kiasu Enough?? Wow... it been 4 months since I last blog...hee hee...  Anyway back to the topic... Why is Sinporean so kiasu... or I am not KS enough... GUESS what??? I am getting hitched... YEAH... me... getting ROM on 4 Aug... Actually I want to be ROM on 8 Aug... u know lah... chinese mah... 8/8/2008.... got three 8s.... but now only 4/8/2008.... if u read in cantonese... "died also want to fa" hahaha..... I was sitting infront of my laptop on 7 May at 11.55pm... and when it was at 11.57pm... the stupid ROM website start to hang liao...and i quickly called my bf to try since he is using a lan line at home and I am using wireless... but on his side the ROM website also hang.... It hang all the way to 5.30am i think.. damnz....i guess all the couples are trying to get this date .. but anyway.. i have gone to sleep lah... just leave the laptop on till 5.30am.. wake up to go toilet... then i off it... so mission failed... will not try to be funny again to fight with all the Kiasu people on getting some popular dates or discounted products anymore....
